Done deal – Workwear Warehouse Ltd

I met Rachael Wallis from Scandi Workwear at BNI Infinity a couple of months ago just a few weeks after launching Orca.

We were talking about finance and business and she explained that she had ordered a new machine from Hobkirk Sewing Machines Ltd and was yet to arrange the finance and could I help.

We talked and I learnt all about her business, what her plans were, and how this new embroidery machine will increase productivity and allow them to insource previously outsourced parts of the work.

But there were a few considerations – VAT reclaim, grant funding, lease or buy, deposit required, personal liability, risk, and so on. And Rachael wont mind me saying that she was a little apprehensive about the whole thing.

Fast forward a few weeks, and with a little help from Haydock Finance Ltd and Rebecca Walton, Rachael and her colleagues now have the new machine they needed!

I called in last week to see Rachael and the team and they were over the moon!

And it’s amazing isn’t it – with momentum and confidence you kind of make your own luck in that the team have just won two HUGE contracts that they just might not have won had they not made the investment in the new machine.

And that’s why we started Orca Finance…

Someone asked me yesterday “What’s your target market?”

And yes, I could reply citing large SME type businesses, big machinery, trucks etc and that would be accurate – it’s a big part of what we do.

But what we really LOVE to do is arrange finance for business where it has IMPACT! 🚀 💥

Helping great people to grow their business, employ more people, supporting their community, winning bigger and better contracts, achieving their goals and living the life they want.
